The arts can encompass many different types, some of which are often referred to as plastic arts. This involves the sculpting or molding of a face or body. By using clay these sculptures can be made to resemble the subject used for a model. Another type is performing arts which include opera, film, dance, and theatre. Musicians are part of the performing arts. Artists in this field are called performers.  Also included in this sector are marching arts, such as bands, acrobatics, and comedy. Painting is considered an art. For the artist who knows how to apply paint to the page to make a masterpiece this is indeed an amazing talent.
